Goaltenders should pay attention to proper fitting practices. When fitting, the mask should be placed 1/4 inch above the eye-brow and make sure the straps are correctly fastened to the chin cup. The mask should be snug but not to tight. Some goaltenders like to paint unique designs and make the goalie mask look appealing.
If the CSA and HECC have certified the hockey helmet, it will be displayed on the inside or outside.
